Our corporate philosophy

Our corporate philosophy is ”Dining with someone is a origin of communication”. Sai Shoku Ken Bi creates diverse and rich food culture through international exchange of dining culture and communication.

Our style, “Sai Shoku Ken Bi Dining Design”, provides people around the world a common ground for mutual understanding in food culture, as well as the platform to explore insightful Japanese dining culture including Sake, the national brew.

History and Vision Sai Shoku Ken Bi was a school established to provide professional courses in table coordination in 1992 in Harajuku, Shibuya city in Tokyo, Japan. As our activity expanded, we gained international presence and became an informational hub to spread Japanese dining culture. In 2014 the activity ultimately became called “Sake on the Table” which is a place where people could experience not only Japanese sake and food, but also Japanese culture as well as the charms of numerous other regions.

In the spring of 2018, we have launched a new information service in Italian for Sake tourism in Sendagaya, Shibuya, the Olympic and Paralympic Games Tokyo 2020 will take place. It will present a great opportunity to experience Japanese sake and its culture for many people from all over the world. We believe that by providing opportunities to make mutual and inter-cultural communications with Japanese sake and food, we contribute to expand and enhance our global food cultures altogether.
